Intro to Spinning on a Drop Spindle
Tutor: Michele Turner

In this workshop you will learn to make yarn using a simple CD drop spindle, and using the park and draft method of spinning, which is ideal for beginners.  There will be the opportunity to spin from tops, and from rolags with a demonstration of how to make these and some ideas on blending to create exciting designer yarn.

Tutor Michele Turner is a member of the West Essex & East Herts Guild of Spinners, Weavers & Dyers.

A spindle and some fluff will be provided.

Level: Beginner - no previous experience necessary!
