Ready to try cable knitting but not sure where to start? In this fun and confidence-boosting workshop, you will learn to knit cables by making an adorable owl - complete with twisty feathers and button eyes.

You will learn how to:
Read a simple cable chart
Use a cable needle (and cable without one!)
Work left- and right-leaning twists
Understand how cables create texture and structure

This class is perfect for knitters who are comfortable with knit and purl stitches and want to take the next step in their skills. The owl is small and satisfying – ideal for building confidence before tackling larger cable projects like hats, scarves or jumpers.

All materials are provided, and you'll leave with your finished or nearly-finished owl, printed instructions, and a big boost of cable confidence.

What you'll get
All materials to make your own cabled owl
Use of cable needles and other tools
A printed pattern and cable chart to take home

Knowledge required
You should already know how to cast on, knit, and purl
No cable experience needed - we'll walk you through it step by step
