Tunisian Crochet for beginners

Tunisian Crochet is a technique that’s been around for a very long time. It is a wonderful hybrid between knit and crochet, it produces fabric like no other.
During this class we will get the basics of Tunisian Crochet, how to work the forward and return passes and how to get the edges perfectly straight. We will also work on selection of stitches, including simple stitch, purl, knit, shells, fans and more.
You do not need to know how to Tunisian crochet, but you do need to know how to hold yarn and hook comfortably and work the basic crochet stitches.
Please bring with you two colours of DK yarn (light colours) and 4 or 4.5mm Tunisian hook.
Level: Basic - for those who do crochet and understand a few stitches
