Fair Isle Knitting is Fun and Creative
Tutor: Monica Russel
Join me to learn the classic knitting technique of Fair Isle.
Monica will enable you to become confident at changing colours, getting the correct tension, reading charts and working patterns on straight needles. She will give you ideas of how to incorporate Fair Isle patterns into garments, scarves, snoods and hats. This is a fun workshop where you will meet like-minded people. At the end of the session you will go home with samples of fair isle and be confident to start a project of your choice.
Materials Supplied:
Worksheet
4/5 colours of Yarn
Knitting needles ( which will need to be returned at the end of the session.)
Please bring a stich holder with you.
There will be an opportunity to buy patterns, kits, yarn and books on the day
Level: Intermediate - You need to be competent at knitting
