Due to the recent changes in Legislation
we will be putting the following in place to keep you safe -
please watch this website for updates.
- You will be required to wear a face covering at the hotel - unless exempt.
- To enter you will be required to show your NHS COVID pass on your mobile or printed version or your covid vaccination card(s) for 1st, 2nd (and booster) or a negative lateral flow test result or a negative PCR result on mobile or paper copy.
- Please do not come to the show if you have any symptoms of COVID-19 (a high temperature, new and persistent cough, or a loss of/change in sense of taste or smell) before travelling to the event. If you, or anyone you live with, have one or more of these symptoms (even if they are mild) you should not attend, and should follow the guidance on testing and self-isolation.
- We will check that all exhibitors follow the same protocols - Face coverings plus show NHS Covid pass, vaccination card or negative test result.
- We will do a risk assessment in collaboration with the Hotel.
- There will be hand sanitiser at every stand.
- We have timed tickets to reduce crowding, however our indoor event usually has more than 500 people in attendance (including exhibitors, volunteers and hotel staff) so we have stricter protocols in place.
Government advice (not yet complete)
England will move to ‘Plan B’ of the COVID-19 Autumn/Winter Plan, in response to the risks of the Omicron variant (B.1.1.529).
- From Friday 10 December, face coverings will be legally required in most public indoor venues, including some types of events and visitor attractions, such as theatres and cinemas.
- From Wednesday 15th December, certain businesses and some events are required by law to check the COVID status of workers and customers, using the NHS COVID Pass. This includes unseated indoor events with 500 or more attendees, unseated outdoor events with 4,000 or more attendees and any event with 10,000 or more attendees. To enter or work in these venues and events, customers and workers must provide proof that they are fully vaccinated or have tested negative in the last 48 hours (unless they are exempt from these requirements).
