Suraya is the designer behind the Mahliqa brand. Each piece is made by her using high quality enamelled copper, sterling silver, gold-filled and rose-gold filled components. The jewellery range includes earrings, necklaces, pendants, bracelets, rings and brooches.
With her eastern heritage, she draws inspiration from the vintage jewellery styles of India & Persia, incorporating colour and sparkle wherever possible, but always with a touch of elegance.
Her mixed media jewellery features hand dyed yarns, and this has led to many collaborations with yarn dyers we all love.
She also produces jewellery knitting patterns and kits, offering something different for knitters to try. These kits are a good introduction to knitting with wire.
