Basic Crochet Scarves
Tutor: Andrew 'Kitey' Kite
Calling all NEW crocheters!
Practice your basic crochet stitches while learning to make a super simple crochet scarf.
Kitey will guide you through the start of your crochet journey and demonstrate some ways that you can make the scarf your own with super simple variations. You’ll be shown a handful of basic stitches you’ll need to complete the project, you will see what happens with different sized hooks to gain an understanding of gauge/texture of fabric created and explore how stitches can be combined to create variations and new stitches!
All materials needed for the workshop will be provided, and you will have a printed pattern to take home so that you can complete your project after the workshop. Hooks can be purchased to take away (if required, at a small additional cost.)
